Honestly, college is just as hard as I expected, but it is so totally doable. When I went home for the first time after college, I had sooo many people ask me how I was doing and if I was overwhelmed/stressed/failing. I replied every time with some sort of variation of "Sure it's hard, but not harder than I expected." College is just so much more on your own—you're responsible for much more outside of class and many professors only give two or three grades each semester.

I've been thinking of doing a blog post around the end of each semester with my updated thoughts on college, so hopefully that can give you a better idea of my personal thoughts and dealings in college.

Thanks so so much for sticking around and reading!A Girl Without A Namehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11888264509066332683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347402080811679626.post-3685136157925969902016-10-10T20:50:59.662-04:002016-10-10T20:50:59.662-04:00College is such a transitional period. I've he...College is such a transitional period. I've heard so many things and I'm curious to see for myself. Quite honestly, I have my doubts about the whole "college is hard af" mode of thinking, because that's what everyone said about high school, and here I am still striving and getting good grades and feeling pretty okay. College is meant to be challenging and I'm sure it will be, but I don't know if it will be the trudge that people say it is.

I'd be interested to hear your take as you get deeper into the year. Maybe I'm a naive little high schooler and college really is a struggle-with-a-capital-S.

On another note, you didn't sound braggy at all! Your accomplishments are your accomplishments. You're not flaunting them--you're using them to make a point.

Ella ~ Simply ScribblesEllahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15236354250292101898noreply@blogger.com
