It's very cool to have someone to relate to as many of my friends have the idea of getting married right of college (or high school) and living a 'simpler' life. Most of them don't really care or put too much thought into their future lives aside from which guy they'll marry, but that's kind of what happens when you live in a small town in America haha. And thanks so much for the info on working as a nurse in Europe/Australia and I'll definitely look in to it as it sounds like something I'd really be interested in. :)A Girl Without A Namehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11888264509066332683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347402080811679626.post-86189895518208864512013-07-25T16:58:05.052-04:002013-07-25T16:58:05.052-04:00It seems like we're both in the bewildered-tee...It seems like we're both in the bewildered-teenager-who-thinks-too-much phase, LOL! Best of luck with getting into the medical profession - I'm not sure about a career yet, but I'm fairly certain that Law is the route I will want to pursue in college (secondary school is longer and more intense here, so you can go straight into law/medicine/etc) but I will have to do joint-honors with something more international for immigration purposes..

Volunteering overseas is a wonderful idea - have you thought about working as a nurse in Europe/Australia? Our government decided to stop recruiting nurses or other medics some time ago (we have a very nutty government ), so virtually everyone I know who trained in healthcare relocates to Australia or the UK where they are in dire need of English-speaking medics. You may not be remotely interested by this trivial piece of information, I just thought it might interest you if you plan on traveling - everyone always says it's an adventure!
:)Teenage Blogger Central Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14045365735401145034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347402080811679626.post-69379911317472418142013-07-25T13:06:48.149-04:002013-07-25T13:06:48.149-04:00You're so right about teen years and following...You're so right about teen years and following your passions and you're quite welcome. I'm sort of like you, my life plans have changed quite a bit and even though I feel like I've found certain aspects in what I want to do, things are still falling in to place and I still have answers to certain decisions that I'm still seeking. I'm pretty positive I want to go into the medical field, whether that be a nurse, physicians assistant, or doctor I'm still not sure. I enjoy school (mostly the learning new things part) so I used to think being a doctor was my route, but I'm not fond of spending my entire twenties in med school and working my butt off as a resident as there are so many things I want to accomplish before I get married and actually have to settle down. I'm really looking in to the peace corps/volunteer work overseas and doing a lot of travel. I really just want to spend as much of my twenties as far away from America as possible to learn as much as possible, see new things, and meet new people. I also enjoyed writing stories and things while in middle school and I'd love to actually put my writing out there a little more. This is mostly an outline of what I really want to do and I hope to make a blog post in the near future that could go in to more depth of what it is I'm wanting.
A Girl Without A Namehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11888264509066332683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347402080811679626.post-3264857626330826092013-07-25T10:27:08.580-04:002013-07-25T10:27:08.580-04:00Back in the day, teen years were for establishing ...Back in the day, teen years were for establishing the rest of your life, but now it's just a void between being too simple to worry (0-10) and being too worried to simplify (20s/30s)... I'm still a little bit lost, too, but at the end of the day, it's better to follow your passions. What is your "life plan"? Mine changes by the fortnight.. Interesting post, I like these reassurances that we're all just making our way. Also, thanks for your praise over at my blog (quirks-and-irks) :)Teenage Blogger Central Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14045365735401145034noreply@blogger.com
